He was listed as Henry L Seefeld, farmer, age 68, born in Illinois and had completed the 4th grade. She was shown as Paulina B Seefeld, age 64, born in Wisconsin and had also completed 4th grade.      An obituary for Henry L. Seefeld was published in the Albany Democrat-Herald, Albany, Oregon on 13 January 1964. It read:
Henry L. Seefeld, 91, a ATangent farmer, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the Lebanon Community hospital. He had heart disease. Mr. Seefeld was born on April 10, 1872 in Sterling, Ill. He lived in Iowa for nine years and came to Oregon in 1903. He lived in Halsey until 1943 and then moved to Route 1, Albany. In 1949, he moved to Tangent. His late wife, Pauline Falk, died on Jan. 11, 1948. They were married on March 27, 1894 in Wesley, Iowa. Survivors include five children. Mrs. Alice Rike of Halsey, Carl Seefeld of Halsey, Mrs. Rosa Carey of Halsey, Mrs. Louise Long of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Esther Nelson of Albany; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. He was the last of a family of eight children. THe funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Fortmiller-Whitaker funeral home. BUrial will be in Willamette Memorial Park. Rev. Robert Ellisen will officiate. Mr. Seefeld was a lutheran.2
He was buried on 15 January 1964 in Willamette Memorial Park, Albany, Linn County, Oregon.2

Falk, farmer on own farm valued at $1200, age 46, born in Iowa. and had completed 7 grades in school. She was listed as Pearl Falk, wife, aage 45, born in Iowa and had completed 8 grades of school. They had lived in the same house in 1935.. Their son Rawley was listed as living with them.6 Pearl became a widow at her husband's death on 24 October 1964.7,8
     Pearl died on 10 January 1969 in Corvalllis, Benton County, Oregon, at age 74.2,3
     An obituary for Pearl R. Falk was published in the Albany Democrat-Herald, Albany, Oregon on 11 January 1969. It read:
HALSEY--Pearl R. Falk, 74, Rt. 1, box 4, Halsey, died Friday in Corvallis. She was born in Clarinda, Iowa Sept 12, 1894. She married William A. Falk in Albany, Sept 30, 1914. He preceded her in death. Survivors include a son, Rawley Falk of Halsey; two brother, Roy McNeese of Carstairs, Alberta, Canada, and ABen McNeese of Nampa, Idaho; two sisters, Lillian and Emma of Clarinda; and three grandchildren. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday at the Halsey Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Roy R. Finch officiating. Burial will follow at Alford Cemetery in Harrisburg. Murphy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.2
She was buried on 14 January 1969 in Alford Cemetery, between Halsey and Harrisburg, Linn County, Oregon.9

     Esther Elizabeth Nemchick was born on 25 May 1889 in Oregon.2
     She married Henry John Falk, son of Charles Ludwig Falk and Odelia Salvienia Rike, in Halsey, Linn County, Oregon, on 16 June 1908.1
     Esther and Henry appeared on the 1910 U.S. census taken on 21 April 1910 in Hasey Precinct, Linn County, Oregon. He was listed as Henry J Falk, age 20, born in Iowa, farmer on a general farm. She was shown as Ester E Falk, age 20, born in Oregon, married for 1 year, one child. Their daughter Nellie was listed as living with them.3
     On 2 January 1920 Esther and Henry appeared on the 1920 U.S. census taken in East Halsey Precinct, Linn County, Oregon. His listing showed him as Henry J. Falk, farmer, renter, age 30, born in Iowa. She was listed as Ester E. Falk, wife, age 30, born in Oregon. Their children Nellie, Pearl and Grace were listed as living with them. They were living next door to Henry's brother, William.4

He was listed as Henry Falk, farmer on general farm, age 40, born in Iowa, parents born in Germany. She was shown as Esther Falk, wife, age 40, born in Oregon. Their children Pearl, Grace and Everett were listed as living with them. Also in their household was Henry's brother, Christopher Falk.5
     Esther and Henry appeared on the 1940 U.S. census taken on 25 April 1940 in East Halsey Precinct, Linn County, Oregon. He was enumerated as Henry Falk, farmer on his own farm valued at $1500, age 50, born in Iowa, completed 8 grades of school. She was listed as Esther Falk, wife, age 50, born in Oregon, completed 8 grades of school. They had lived in the same house in 1935. Their son Everett was listed as living with them. Henry's brother, Christopher Falk, was also living in their household.6
     Esther died on 28 July 1979 in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, at age 90.7,2
     An obituary for Esther Elizabeth Falk was published in the Register Guard, Eugene, Oregon in July 1979. It read:
FALK -- Esther E. Falk, age 90, former Halsey resident died July 18, 1979, in Portland. Survivors: Daughters: Nellie Falk Vannice, North Powder, Oregon; Pearl Falk Boots, Portland; Grace Falk Thompson, Eugene; son: Everett Falk, Junction City; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, Halsey Methodist Church. Interment Alford Cemetery. FISHER FUNERAL HOME Albany. Contributions, Halsey Methodist Church Memorial Fund.7
She was buried on 1 August 1979 in Alford Cemetery, between Halsey and Harrisburg, Linn County, Oregon.7,8 The inscription on her grave marker reads: FALK. ESTHER E. b. May 25 1889 -- July 2. 1979. This is on a double stone with her husband Henry.9,8
