Death Notices. RICHTER--Sadie Richter, age 74, a lifelong resident of Eugene and Springfield, died at Salem on April 10, 1947. She was born May 8, 1872, at Eugene. Married John Richter at Sacramento. He died in 1942. Surviving are three children, Frank Marketta, Tacoma, Pearl Smith, Portland, and Myrtle Cook of Eugene; four sisters, Bertie Pinard, Tacoma, Marie Adams, Portland, Elizabeth Smutz, Salem, and Charles Monroe, Portland, and George Monroe, Sweet Home, Ore; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The funeral service will take place from the Poole-Larsen Chapel on Monday, April 14 at 2 p.m. Interment in family plot in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Another obituary with the same information was published in the same newspaper the next day, 13 Apr 1947.2,3

C. Walp and Mrs. Robert Schmitz of Salem, Or; Mrs. J. Richter, Springfield, Or; Charles, William and George of eastern Oregon and Percy of estacada, Or. Remains are at the conservatory chapel of the East Side funeral Directors, Inc., 414 East Alder st. Funeral notice later.7
