She married John C. Perisho at Westland Monthly Meeting in Blue River Township, Hancock County, Indiana, on 25 March 1847.5
She appeared on the 1850 U.S. census taken on 27 August 1850 in Westfield, Washington Township, Hamilton County, Indiana, in the household of Benjamin and Sabina T. Albertson. Fanny was Sabina's sister. She was shown as Fanny Parashaw [sp.] age 23, born on Ohio. Her husband John and daughter Edith were also in the household.6
In 1856 Fanny and John appeared on the state census in Providence Township, Hardin County, Iowa. He was shown as John C. Perisho, blacksmith, age 29, born in North Carolina, 1 year in Iowa. John C. Perisho was born the 11th day of the 7th month 1826 (11 July 1826) in Pasquotank County, North Carolina.1,2,3
He married Fanny Marsh, daughter of Elias Marsh and Edith Townsend, at Westland Monthly Meeting in Blue River Township, Hancock County, Indiana, on 25 March 1847.4
He appeared on the 1850 U.S. census taken on 27 August 1850 in Westfield, Washington Township, Hamilton County, Indiana, in the household of Benjamin and Sabina T. Albertson. John was Benjamin's brother-in-law. He was listed as John Parashaw, age 24, born in North Carolina, a blacksmith. His wife Fanny and daughter Edith were also in the household.5
In 1856 John and Fanny appeared on the state census in Providence Township, Hardin County, Iowa. He was shown as John C. Perisho, blacksmith, age 29, born in North Carolina, 1 year in Iowa. She was listed as Fanny M. Perisho, age 28, born in Ohio. Their children Edith, Elias and William were listed as living with them. The agricultural statistics showed that the family had 20 acres of corn which produced 400 bushels, 1/4 acre of potatoes which produced 20 bushels, they had sold 2 cattle for a vallue of $72, they produced 50 pounds of butter, and 50 pounds of wool.6
