MRS. ALBERTSON PASSES AWAY. Another Sherman county pioneer passed away last week, when Mrs. N. E. Albertson departed from this life to the Great Beyond. The deceased was born in Adams county. Ohio, February 5, 1857 and died at her home near Edson April 15, 1916 aged fifty-nine years, two months and ten days. In her early childhood her parents moved from Ohio to Illinois, she married February 25, 1877, to Curtis Morey and they moved to Nebraska the following year. In February, 1889, they again moved, this time to Sherman county, where she has resided continually until her death. Seven children were born to this union two girls and five boys, two of the latter with their father preceded her to the Better World. She was again married January 26, 1902, to N.E. Albertson, who is left to mourn her death. Besides her husband and children six brothers, two sisters and ten grandchildren survive her. Mrs. Albertson was known for miles around and a friend once made remained a friend to the end. The funeral, which was held in the Christian church, was said by old settlers to have been one of the largest, if not the largest, ever held in the city. A fitting sermon was delivered by Rev. B. A. Channer and the remains are now resting in the cemetery north of town. If sympathy can alleviate the passing of a beloved one, the grief of the bereaved ones should be greating assuaged, for on every hand true, sympathetic, sorring friend spoke works [sic] of love and tendered every help within their power.1
