He married Lucy Irene Howe, daughter of Ichabod Howe and Irene Scovill, in Cornwall, Litchfield County, Connecticut, on 31 December 1832.4
Timothy and Lucy appeared on the 1850 U.S. census taken on 3 October 1850 in Goshen, Litchfield County, Connecticut. He was listed as a 36 year old male, laborer, born in New York. Their children Ralph, Emily, Luman and Marsh were listed as living with them.6
In Rivoli Township, New Windsor Post Office, Mercer County, Illinois, on 18 July 1870 Timothy and Lucy appeared on the 1870 U.S. census.
